Office 365 Phishing Campaign

Streamscan has recently observed a phishing campaign aimed at taking control of Office mailboxes in your cloud. Using social engineering techniques, hackers lure their victims and take control of their mailboxes. Then they forward the victim's emails to an external Gmail mailbox. This allowed them to intercept confidential documents or identify communications with persons of interest in order to carry out fraud.

The impacts of such an attack can be major for a company.
